When the time came to face the Absolute, Karlach offered to turn into a mind flayer and Ziggy, thinking there was no other cure for her condition, allowed her to.
They still keep in touch, even if the way she changed and keeps changing, saddens him sometimes.

4. Vince's first chrome was optics at 16, simply because he had been very near sighted since childhood and second hand optics were cheaper, quicker and granted better results than lasik. He has upgraded them over the years to better models and now has a beyond perfect eyesight.

As a nomad, Vince doesn't believe in countries or borders. And the NUSA never made him feel welcome.

Carver would rather not mention him at all. Once he called him Father or Creator but even then Bhaal instilled reverential terror in him.
Now that he rejected him, he fears that if he so much as think of him again, Bhaal could somehow reach him, infect him again with The Urge.

Vince's mother was catholic. He used to pray with her as a kid but he was too young to truly understand religion and abandoned spirituality as he grew up.
He doesn't believe in the afterlife and is afraid of death but the Soulkiller doesn't bother him that much. (Cont.)

2. Prior to becoming a merc in the city, Vince was a Nomad. That was enough to be classified as an outlaw but he also took part in many illegal activities, such as smuggling and underground car races. Run-ins with the NCPD are a pretty regular occourrence for him.

Vince would say his biggest flaw is his "short temper".
In reality, he's pretty good at keeping his cool but he's vindictive and prone to resort to physical violence. It's easier to blame the heat of the moment than face how hateful and cruel he's capable of being.
