On a related note, an important update: I go by Alex now! No longer called Scout. I'm a trans man🏳️‍⚧️

@wclanthology.bsky.social hello! I just found your page, and I was wondering if there's any way I can get involved/become a contributor? I'm a disabled college grad, and I'd love to be a writer for something like this if you're accepting contributors

Hi Bluesky, it's been a while!I'd like to recommend this book I ordered, written by queer creators. It's half-short stories and half comics.

I miss when we just had "cold and flu season"...

Now it's

"Rhinovirus
Atypical pneumonia
Human influenza
Norovirus
Coronavirus
Avian influenza
Respiratory syncytial virus
Season."

People are open mouth coughing, refusing to wear a mask, and wondering why everyone's sick. 🤡

Autism Speaks Canada shuts down in January. The Canadian org Autistics for Autistics thinks this is both good, and "an opportunity for autistics and our families to collaborate locally to build new, neuro-affirming spaces and projects."

People love to shit on "the chronically online," meanwhile campaigns to take over social media are funded and organized by very powerful people who recognize digital space as real life and the facebook moms, shut-ins and failsons who people it as real political actors.
Something I’ve been thinking about is the conservative movement to capture pop culture, which succeeded in spaces a lot of people didn’t realize were so popular or politically impactful: podcasts, YouTube commentary, influencers, etc

I just finished my last college assignment. I'm done, I can't believe it. I'm a college graduate. For a long time I never thought I'd make it. I feel like the immense weight on my shoulders I've been holding for years has been lifted

Anyone else get ADHD mental blocks even with things you really want to do? I've been putting off my first YouTube video for a while now, just because the task of figuring out video editing seemed daunting to me. But I still really want to do it

I have so. many. ideas for new writing projects, but can't seem to get any off the ground due to ADHD. I'm working on a blog and a potential YouTube channel, and thinking about a graphic novel series, and possibly horror short stories as well. So many ideas I don't know where to start #adhd

Working on my first video essay, but I have a cough and can't record my audio yet.

The video will be about the misrepresentation of self care in the media, and it will be very rough because I'm brand new to video editing

I've had an observation lately. It seems as if the only time intersex people are mentioned in lgbt discourse is when it's in defense of non-intersex trans and nonbinary people. We need to do better in including intersex folks in queer advocacy #intersex #ally #lgbt #nonbinary #advocacy
