Not sure why I've never thought of or seen this before?

It works exactly as you'd expect due to operator precedence. I call it Elvis logging haha

#notesArt #inktober day 7: starfish
A clear, starry night sky. The sky is a deep blue and covered with stars. Floating in the sky is the huge, ghostly form of a fish, outlined in iridescent green. Where the fish's eye would be is a white full moon. A number of the stars sit along the outline, defining it. Below is a remote, craggy mountain peak, with a dark blur of a treeline in the background. The painting is signed "Chris Silverman".

The point, like most institutions now, is to uphold the illusion of a social contract, while providing plausible deniability for the UK government (red or blue) to deliberately create and nurture culture wars and wedge issues.

This took absolutely ages, so if you'd like to buy us a coffee at ko-fi.com/cassetteboy we'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

Humanism has always been global. 🌍✨

From philosophers like Epicurus in ancient Greece, to Cārvāka in India, Mengzi in China, the goðlauss of the Nordic sagas, and the philosophy of ubuntu in Africa — humanist ideas can be found in traditions all over the world.

Is there a way to verify after the fact that the binary patches were built from the sources they claim to have been? Thanks

We are alarmed by reports that Germany is on the verge of a catastrophic about-face, reversing its longstanding and principled opposition to the EU’s Chat Control proposal which, if passed, could spell the end of the right to privacy in Europe. signal.org/blog/pdfs/ge...

Not to make light of the editorial failure, but look how far Twitter lies now permeate in to normal discourse. We think we know about the racism but the utter contempt for truth since Musk bought the platform is deliberate & very dangerous. You can’t foment racism with fact checkers in the building.

Oh my god.

Have I Got News For You just referred to this completely false claim as a fact!!

To meet people where they are i.e. have plausible deniability for doing nothing to shepherd the voting public away from radicalisation because secretly it benefits their donors to have a malleable, brainrotten, and weaponisable median electorate

I agree. I think it's awful that some people seem to effectively want to live in a big castle and launch missiles at anyone who's outside. They've been memetically and arguably genetically engineered to have more hatred of "others" than was necessary to get us here. 😔

You're referring to global inequalities?

America, what the fuck is going on? Who is funding this?

We know why - huge conflicts of interest that some describe as corruption, accurately or not. I don't understand why close to 100% of the media and public discourse isn't about the huge conflicts of interest that politicians are subject to?!
