Big day for the movies! I’m puttering around the newly renovated office constantly humming the four-note theme from The Brutalist and looking at floor plans. And getting some interesting new jazzy variations on that theme. Intrepid innovation!

a joke has occurred to me as a consequence of raising a newborn child. the joke is: these days, our household goes through diapers so quickly that we ought to buy stock in the diaper company! again, this was only a joke. i don't imagine we're purchasing enough diapers to influence the stock market
