For those wondering how #RFKJr & others helped turn anti-vaccine conspiracies into federal policy under Trump, the roots trace back nearly 30 years to disgraced doctor Andrew Wakefield’s fraudulent study falsely linking #vaccines to #autism - exposed as a hoax by author & journalist Brian Deer.

I'll say it again. Trump repeatedly promised another trade war with China if re-elected. Yet, the vote in farm country went for him by nearly 80% in 2024 - slightly more than he received in 2020 after his 1st trade war w/ China, which was also a disaster for farmers. Wake up!

Joni Ernst: "Unfortunately, our farmers do need that assistance. They don't like it. They consider it welfare. They want trade, not aid. So we really need to see some of these new markets opening up around the globe ... but if there's anybody that can make a deal, it's President Trump."

Trump’s first #tradewar with China was a disaster for farmers, even after the bailout. There’s no reason to believe Sen. Hyde-Smith—or anyone else—claiming this new clash with Beijing will end differently. It will only mean more economic pain for #soybean and #corn farmers.

Confidence in #RFKJr is collapsing. Almost 6 in 10 voters say they don’t trust him on #vaccines, #healthcare positions. I don't recall any former HHS Secretary this unpopular.

“We found consuming different types of fruits and vegetables changes your pesticide levels accordingly, with greater consumption of the higher-residue foods increasing pesticide levels in urine more than consumption of the lower-residue foods," said EWG's Alexis Temkin, lead author of the study.

Some food companies are making “regenerative” claims on their product packages or in their advertising – but these statements may not be everything they seem to be.

Arkansas farmer: We've got a real disaster with this tariff deal. We produce 40% more agricultural products than we can consume domestically. China is the largest importer of soybeans in the world. For the first time in 20 years, China's bought zero soybeans and zero corn out of this country.

PG&E customers have seen a 64% increase in their bills since 2020.

Recently, PG&E bragged that their customers can expect a $5 reduction in their monthly bills.

But $5 is nothing compared to the $115/month increase we’ve seen in the last 5 years.

The idea you make more money by spending more is, of course, preposterous to working families. But that's exactly how monopoly utilities like SCE, @pge4me.bsky.social & @sdge.bsky.social make their billions each year - & it all comes from higher rates on their captive customers.

While customers saw higher bills, @SCE quietly cashed in, backed by a $38–$43 billion capital spending plan through 2028. 💰 The more they spend, the more they profit.
