We've been watching Ted Lasso for the last few weeks and really love the positivity in it, however, that theme song is absolutely awful, every time it yelps in it almost makes me want to turn the whole thing off.

Bluesky cooks, mainly @petefrasermusic.bsky.social with your Asian cuisine and egg cooking knowledge. Red miso paste, open jar - says use within 4 weeks, being fermented, this is gubbins right? I say this not as a newbie cook, but new to using these sorts of ingredients.

After not doing much musically in recent years, tonight I'm being played on local/online radio. Which, whilst small steps, is still exciting.

So I played a gig last night. And had a few people say the song I wrote about the grief of losing a parent suddenly this year really resonated with them. That meant a lot, it's only a small provincial town pub venue but it's some of the nicest comments I've received about one of my songs.

Made Romesco for the first time. So obviously I dipped the flip out of some homemade pizza in it.

No, you're having a moment of nostalgia and listening to Howards Alias at 10:20pm on a Tuesday night.

I've always loved the referencing of street/place names in American songwriting. Two of my favourites, John Darnielle and Craig Finn exemplify this. However, being from a small market town in England I've always struggled to implement it myself. I mean North Street is hardly exciting is it?
