From your summoning circle, a Cerberus rises, covered in flame. In unison, her heads speak:

"FOOLISH MORTAL, WHY HAST THOU SUMMONED-"

One of the heads sneezes.

"Oh come ON we rehearsed this a hundred times!"

"WELL SORRY, GOD FORBID A BITCH HAS ALLERGIES!"

They argue like this for half an hour.

As TN State Rep Justin Jones reminds us, our elders and ancestors in the fight for equality were fighting for us.
Now, it is our job to fight for the next generation and the generations to come after that. Join the fight in your community.

For years we've heard from the right about "welfare queens" and other so-called "freeloaders" pulling one over on the government.

But actually, it's the wealthy who are the real freeloaders — pulling one over on us all by skirting their taxes.

Where is the outrage over that?

The path to single payer healthcare in the USA is making it sound normal and reasonable and unthreatening (because it is all these things) not making it sound like a radical, revolutionary change.

I wrote about the UAW’s big year. As for why their message has resonated, Shawn Fain told me, “If you work for a living and you’ve been left behind, we have the same issues. COVID made people reflect on what’s important in life, and it isn’t working seven days a week…People want to live.”
The UAW Has Had a Big Year. They’re Preparing for an Even Bigger One.
From launching a historic strike at the Big Three automakers to calling for a cease-fire in the war on Gaza, the UAW has had a big year. And 2024 might be even bigger: the union is pushing to organize...
