I just worry that the start of a lesson is quite a busy time with people arriving at different times - does that lead to some students (you know the ones) never doing any retrieval practise?

Does ´retrieval practice ´ have to be done at the start of a lesson. I find it naturally finds a place at all kinds of points in a maths lesson?
