Unfortunately it seems like holding people accountable for abuse is mostly just a massive inconvenience for some people and the rest is just an abstraction for them.

We don’t need be measured in our tone when calling out assaults on pluralistic democracy.

I think this points to a tendency towards many smaller concessions in the face of an overwhelming onslaught on truth, but also to an unwillingness to say that you didn’t and don’t have to be at all radical to feel that what Kirk said and did was pretty evil.
