I haven’t been on here in months, but I figured I should update my bio since I’ve been a deacon (transitional) for a few weeks now.

The more things are fucked, the more Anglo-Catholic I get. When life is going well, give me that happy flappy Jesus music. But when everything goes to shit, you’ll catch me praying in front of a Mary statue in the snowy darkness.

Every time I say, “St. Marsha P. Johnson, pray for us,” I imagine her looking down at us from amidst the Great Cloud of Witnesses & saying:

This is a good reminder that when you’re transitioning, you just need to give yourself time. You will probably go through an ugly duckling phase, but you will come out on the other side.

Trying to remind myself that even though somehow all 4 metro lines are down at once, I’m still lucky to live in a city with generally usable public transit.
