- pay for someone’s HRT
- help a trans person find employment and housing
- donate to local trans organizations
- contact your reps and demand non-compliance with policies targeting trans people

In light of the present shitshow, I’ve taken up a practice of praying to my favorite saints (canonized or not) for strength against evil.

It is not surprising to me that Trumpism has gained so much traction within evangelicalism because they have created a new Christianity that doesn’t actually require anyone to BE Christian. Their gospel does not call for repentance - it merely lightly suggests it while offering Jesus as a loophole.

it's important to remember, trump's admin used this exact same tactic back in 2017. try to overwhelm the public with hundreds of terrible executive order, make people doom-spiral so they don't resist. but they couldn't stop police stations burning in 2020.

hire them. It's REALLY hard already for visibly trans people to get jobs, even before this shit.

I understand all the praise of Bishop Budde’s sermon, but I still don’t think it should have ever happened in the first place. It sets up TEC as his Orangeness’ Loyal Opposition, but God doesn’t call us to loyally oppose evil but to be disloyal to it.
