Whoever decided Youtube on Android should swipe from videos to shorts even on a browser in desktop mode should not be allowed to make decisions anymore.

Is it unreasonable of me to expect people working in a pharmacy to have any sort of working knowledge of syringes/needles? They've literally never gotten it totally right.

I get kind of annoyed by the "ai is actually good at ____" and is it? Are you cross referencing the output with verified data or did you get a few results that satisfied you and now you assume it is always mostly correct and helpful? Do you appreciate how easy it is to trick humans

@hankgreen.bsky.social As someone who is politics/government dumb, if budget bills cause government shutdowns sometimes because they have riders for non-budget things on them, why hasn't it just been made a rule that they can't have non-budget stuff on? That seems like it'd be better for everyone.

I don't understand why people put trigger warnings in the notes at the end of stories on AO3. They mention in the note at the top where they are (as far as I've seen anyway) but that means you have to scroll all the way down to even know if you need to avoid some?

The minecraft mod Framed Blocks has stairs where you can colour the upper step one block, the lower another and where you can have half of it one block, half the other but not stairs where just the tread is one block and the rest is another?

Earbud makers should make fake/dummy versions of earbuds that you can get with tips and such to try out the size/shape before buying an actual pair so I can tell if they're going to be too big for my freakishly tiny baby ears without having to buy multiples ones that are.
