Absolutely wild CBC thought it would be a good idea to immediately spoil the end of the baseball game with a push alert. Like...sports streaming apps know that's not ok. And they suck. I get that you're excited that you have push alerts but please act like an adult.
Ok just one quick thing. The logo is meant to be a C propagating outward like radio waves. It's officially called the "gem". That's why the streaming service is CBC Gem. But internally it was unofficially called the "exploding pizza".

The Tim Hortons throwback cups are a great metaphor for how the brand used to be simple and enjoyed, and was then ruined by corpos and marketing departments. You just don't often see a company go "remember when we didn't suck?"
For about 10 minutes, tonight was one of the best aurora displays I’ve seen all year. Typically at NB latitudes, even when the aurora is visible to the eye, it still appears colourless. Tonight was an exception and I could briefly see colours with the naked eye!
Capitalism is intriguing because unemployment is used as a major negative measure, and yet businesses within the system are hyper-incentived to increase unemployment though "finding efficiency".
