I have no idea what’s going to be actually happening in the US in the next 12 months. The range of possible scenarios seems to me to be quite wide. Canceling some O&G subsidies isn’t impossible.

Tesla’s position is that all subsidies, including for O&G should be eliminated. That’s tens of $ billions directly in the US, and hundreds $ billions in unpriced externalities.

If all subsidies go, then it might end up being net positive for Tesla
