Especially poignant quote for the next 4 years: Laws are threats made by the dominant socioeconomic ethnic group in a given nation. It’s just the promise of violence that’s enacted and the police are basically an occupying army, you know what I mean?
Apparently a bunch of podcasts are now on Netflix. Now I have an easy default for when I want to watch something but don’t want to invest in a new show or movie

I’m very happy to learn Bovino is demoted and pushed out. But I also recognize this is not a victory; this is symbolic and mostly a personal punishment for embarrassing the regime. It’s not any capitulation to the outcry or admission of wrongdoing. We have to keep going.

Our initial analysis is up.

The video footage appears to show that the gun was taken away from the man before he was shot.

He was UNARMED before any of the shots were fired.
Federal law enforcement agents shot and killed a man in Minneapolis on Jan. 24 according to local police officials. DHS told Fox News that the man was “armed with a gun”. A video of the shooting appears to show that a gun was taken from the man before the first shot was fired. x.com/BillMelugin_...

NRA, where you at? 🤔
Early DHS spin (via Fox News) is that the person shot repeatedly by Border Patrol officers in Minneapolis was armed -- note that open carrying firearms is legal with a permit and notably, they are not (yet at least) claiming that the person fired or even brandished a gun, just had one.

War costs us a better world.

The cognitive dissonance running rampant in the far-right world and within the regime is truly mind boggling. Support and encourage the Iranian people but threaten to invoke the insurrection act in response to the protests in Minnesota? What the fuck are you talking about??

Coworker: “They’re both like ‘I have this much experience, so I should get paid this amount’ It’s ridiculous!”

Bitch, it’s ridiculous that you’ve been so brainwashed by capitalism to think your own children don’t deserve a living wage after they graduate college and work in their fields for years

It's so fucking convenient that they get to "fear for their lives" anytime they want to absolve themselves of anything and when we actually fear for our lives because of them and do anything a scared person would do it's justification for our death.
