I'm reading about Metaphor Refantazio's characters and... did Atlus finally do it? Did they finally make a best friend character who isn't a complete moron? Holy shit I need this game now.
(I do like Junpei, Yosuke, and Ryuji though, I'm just tired of the best friend always being... not bright)

Microsoft spending God knows how much money to run a Gameass commercial at the Game Awards for an audience of people who very likely already knew about it and if they liked it or not reminds me of Phil Spencer announcing FFXIV coming to Xbox... to a crowd of people who already played the game.

Did anybody else find that a LOT of the game awards trailers were like... really bad at actually communicating their story? They were almost all overwhelmingly action and tone and not, like... why is there a story happening? What is driving the characters to be doing this?

Many people on the internet need to learn that if you are watching/playing/reading something and you dislike it and it's making you unhappy... you can and SHOULD just STOP. What are you accomplishing with this beyond making yourself miserable? Is it really worth it just so you can look smart?

As of one minute ago, Final Fantasy XVI has become the second game I have ever gotten the platinum trophy for. Good fucking game.
