I've certainly been critical of Senator Cory Book er in the past, but I will give him his just desserts for what he has done in the past 24 hours. And, I will celebrate him for breaking Strom Thurmond's record because anytime a Black person renders a racist irrelevant, it's a good thing.

I feel like I've been teetering on the edge of my villain era for around 6 years now & the election finally pushed me over the edge. For certain people, my empathy meter is so low these days. Am I the asshole? Maybe. I'm not sure I care at this point.

I just shoved earbuds in my ears and turned on brown noise to have a few minutes where I can hear the thoughts in my own head. This is solo parenting when everyone's anxiety is at max. 😖

My town is 63% Black. It's one of the main reasons we bought our house here this summer. Does this mean I'll celebrate segregation? Fuck no. But it's been a factor in my long term plans for years now. We all knew this was coming if he got back in that white house.
