Gutting the EPA and FEMA is a climate policy.

Cutting access to climate and weather data is a climate policy.

Taxing renewables is a climate policy.

Defunding NSF, NOAA, and NASA is climate policy.

Trump and the fascists are going to try to make this about law and order. That narrative is total bullshit. ICE are kidnappers. They have broken the law every day, and their immoral mission to break apart families and communities and hurt countless people is fundamentally wrong.

Thurmond was afforded a bathroom break and read from the encyclopedia. Booker held the floor the entire time and delivered a consistent, cogent speech for more than 24 hours.

Incredible.

It would be a shame to encourage folks to use banned book lists to do strange things like
-check them out regularly at the library
-request the library order them if they don’t have them
-buy them
-start or support banned book clubs
-organize a banned book kids story time
A real shame

Don’t let what we are witnessing harden you.
Yes it’s heartbreaking.
Yes it’s devastating.
Yes it’s painful.
That very pain that you are still able to feel is an affirmation of your humanity.
Fight to hold on to it.
Fight to maintain it.
Fight to keep your heart soft.
Remain fiercely human.
