It’s 2030. I’m late for the bus. No time for breakfast. Then I remember the public fruit trees the council planted to shade the sidewalk years ago. It’s late summer, so apples and apricots are ripe. I grab two of each and keep moving, reminded how simple it is to design systems that nourish us all.

Went on a guided walk around the community gardens in Mile Cross. Had conversations about nature, the city, and our relationship with both that will inform a new play by The Common Lot. Look out for From Mousehold to the Marsh coming to Norwich in early July.
