I spotted this on 4th Nov and was, ironically, called a grinch by a friend for saying it was too early. I went passed this house again today and it turns out this was just an opening salvo. It looks like Santa’s grotto now.

Lovely day in Whitchurch in Hampshire. I went to see an exhibition by The Alchemist’s Needle at Whitchurch Silk Mill. I enjoyed it so much I’m thinking about going back with my daughter before the exhibition ends. The mill is also excellent.
