One significant difference between the fascists of today and those of the 1930s is their use of flags. Whereas the old fascists invented new flags for their cause, the modern fascists follow Putin's example by usirping their existing national flags and abusing them for fascist propaganda.
It is very sad to see our flag abused and taken over by the racist far right. Farage, Tories and much of the media have a lot to answer for in the destruction of our country.

Many moons ago, I volunteered with Kid’s Company. It is such a shame their good work was brought to an end by scurrilous false accusations.
Grateful to @jolyonmaugham.bsky.social and @goodlawproject.bsky.social for launching a campaign in support of the forthcoming judicial review that will challenge the Charity Commission's prejudicial findings against Kids Company.
