Well if you are going to be petty, withholding or opening misdelivered mail (posted to a different address from what is shown) is illegal. If it has your address but not your name, you should return to sender. If delivered wrong it should be put back into the mail system, at the least.

My wife had foot surgery 4 weeks ago, and has barely been able to leave the front room. It's amazing how quickly your mental health can deteriorate in such a short time. I feel your pain.

I once had to show the local MP the best method to post her flyers through. She was really struggling, empty hands as well.

The Post Office doesn't deliver your mail though.... But holding a bundle of mail and trying to post letters through an awkwardly place letterbox (above shoulder, below ankle, sideways, off to one side so I have to lean) with strong flaps isn't as easy as you think. Especially with cold fingers.

But we are trying to hold a bundle of mail while doing this. Or it would take an age going into the bag for every letter. More than a thumb is needed sometimes. Even still, some are ridiculously difficult to post through without leaving the mail hanging out. Or a tight gap shredding my cuticles.

Thanks. We do try (well most of us lol). It's difficult times with the decline of letters and boom of parcels. There are lots of us that are unhappy we can't deliver the first class service that we should be.

And £350 million per week for the NHS. Supposedly...
