It frankly seems like this was done to win election seats and then immediately abandoned once that was done, which is not going to be good for Democratic support IMO.

*Fury* towards the group that insists that the government can't be open unless insurance premiums go up that is going to court to fight for their right to let people starve.
Republicans like my in-laws getting pissed at their congressmen and *Texas* senators for upholding this.

Caylan Ford is suing me and PressProgress, along with trusted news organizations like CBC News, the Toronto Star, as well as other award-winning journalists
Caylan Ford says she wants to “impose costs” on us as part of a larger crusade to “fight back against cancel culture” 🙄

But this lawsuit is so much bigger than me or PressProgress
This lawsuit could have chilling implications for journalism and democracy in Canada
Caylan Ford is also asking the court to protect politicians’ secrets and prevent journalists from reporting on documents leaked by whistleblowers

To be clear: PressProgress stands behind its journalism
We took multiple steps to verify the authenticity of Caylan Ford’s statements and gave Caylan Ford multiple opportunities to explain her words
Journalists have a right to quote the words of politicians

Was in the NY Times. His job is to keep the left pro-Israel.
Which is a weird hardline stance to take. Without any condition? Unconditional support no matter what?

As a Canadian, and I think to a lot of Europeans, I feel that the Democratic Party is your "strong conservative party."
