Tricky to define in so few words especially, but on short the idea of basing political views and actions off of specific immutable "identities", usually with an essentialist intepretation of that identity. Normally associated with the centre-left but you get examples across the spectrum

He is wrong on that point in that he's bunding environmental politics with identity politics, he's absolutely right about identity politics both distracting from economoc issues and, although he doesn't mention this, inevitably eventually turning against the people it was meant to protect

I mean I have a mainstream bank and they have crypto services tbf, its just not taken up widely as its seen by the public as mostly for investors and criminals. That is a fair point though crypto is a valid option for legal purchases that mainstream payment providers deny

Linux Mint, very beginner friendly. I've used Ubuntu, Linux Mint and Fedora and, whilst I currently prefer Fedora (KDE edition) I still think LM is more beginner friendly
