I know it's not strictly a measure for Latinas, but wouldn't discussions on the wage issue draw strength from a Democratic effort to raise the minimum wage by at least $10/hr.?
The poorest workers would benefit the most, but it would nudge everyone up as well.
Minimum Wage should be a Living Wage.
