Theyre made of plastic and paper and live in the most annoying cash register play skool ever made, but yes

That is the real life reality here, too. One more reason it’s not realistic dialogue

Also, depending on the specific allergy, celebrex might be an option

Fairly low cross reactivity.

I would absolutely mention this to a patient with a documented aspirin allergy!

Exactly! Film/television might be the only education people receive

In terms of drug choice, 800 every 4 hrs is certainly excessive, but 600 every 6 would be the first thing I advise in the SHORT TERM for people without contraindications

Hah, cant argue with that sound logic!

The cool thing is that film/tv actually has an opportunity to make people LESS idiotic

Tylenol/acetaminophen or ibuprofen/Aleve/Advil/Motrin/Naproxen are NOT the same things

Real life people unconsciously internalize what they hear over and over and over again, and hearing this bad advice can cause real life harm to real life people

Thanks for the reminder! Should include that in the thread

Bystander CPR SAVES LIVES

Every minute of delayed CPR decreases survival by 10%

1) Call for help/911
2) Hands only CPR (no pausing for breaths)
3) Use an AED

Keep arms straight, push HARD at 100-120 compressions/min

It WILL be tiring
