i've been listening to a new (to me) podcast. i'm really interested in the tv show and 2 of the hosts are celebrities from the show. but they're so fucking annoying i'm not sure i'm going to get through the entire season. and one of the hosts is not from the show and she's even more annoying.

This did not age well. It's supposed to be 68 today, 64 tomorrow, 71 on Friday, and 74 on Saturday.
Two local meteorologists have their winter weather forecasts out and both are tentatively expecting a white Christmas this year! Those are rare even though only an inch on the ground is enough to qualify it as a white Christmas.

I just watched a bunch of videos of people pressure washing their driveways. Sooooo satisfying.
Mine could use a good cleaning but I don't have a pressure washer and I rent so I don't want to buy or even rent one.

Desperately trying to pack all these orders so they can go out w/UPS today and my coworker has been gone for an hour and 15 minutes (and counting) for her half hour lunch. These orders have to go out today or they're not going to make it in time for Christmas.

There's a customer walking through the store talking to her doc's office on phone. "I'm 84 years old. I've been exposed to COVID. I'm not sick. Should I go get vaccinated? is it too late? What do I do?"

We found a box of my dad's that contains his grandmother's purse stuffed full of old property tax receipts, some photos of my grandfather & unknown people (maybe my older cousin will recognize them?) and hospital bills from my birth and my brother's

I just got the mail that hasn't been delivered all week and now I have to go through all my Informed Delivery emails to make sure there isn't anything still missing. I'm beginning to think I need to have the mail held and just go pick it up once a week, at least through the holidays.

Last night I had a nightmare about a tornado 🌪️ and some kittens 🐈. (i rescued the kittens, don't worry!) While I was lying awake, I remembered a few people and cats I hadn't seen on here in awhile. So of course I had to check on them and all had recently posted, I just hadn't seen their posts.

😢 I'm sure she's thrilled to be moving back to CA but I'm so sad to see her go.
I was told by multiple meteorologists on multiple channels that the snow today would start around 4-5pm. Imagine my surprise when I went out to do a curbside pickup at NOON and it was snowing. It's been light snow all day but I wanted to get home before dark so I didn't make the stops I had planned.

It's pretty ridiculous that the roads are completely clear of snow and ice but the parking lot at the mall is a skating rink. Do they not want customers?

The roads look bad, the mall has not even bothered to plow or salt the parking lot, and the store manager is basically bullying people into coming in. We have no customers!

Well, it's snowing, but so far there's only a dusting on the grass so there's nowhere near enough to prevent me from going to work in an hour.

Black Friday is usually my favorite day of the year but I'm just not feeling it this year. Eight hours and 12 minutes until I can go home. I hope it snows overnight so I can call off tomorrow.
