And my dad is the type of guy who will expect a clean house and me to make a meal and get him drinks the whole visit.

His excuse is he doesn’t want to make the 55-minute trip for them to only spend an hour with her. They’d rather come to our house for A COUPLE HOURS when she’s a newborn
He can meet her at Christmas if that’s how they feel.
