Played my LARP character Niccolo for 7 years. He was the last priest from a pacifist nation of isolated islands destroyed by a demon king’s tsunami. He went through some costume changes but ultimately remained true to who he was: a healer, guide, and leader of his people, devoted to his goddesses.

On a nerd retreat in Big Bear this holiday weekend. Highlight so far: playing a ultraviolent alicorn that’s the manifestation of a pre-teen girl’s frustration over her braces in Pretty Pony RPG. Fangs a lot to @heysamsterling.bsky.social!

Was at Universal Studios’ Fan Fest last night and got thinking about how a Back to the Future remake would work today.
