Big numbers to say we've played Chelsea, Liverpool, Newcastle & Man Utd in this time.

Compare this to Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

66 Goals - 90.99xG - Total

34 Goals - 47.4xG - Right Foot
7 Goals - 13.87xG - Left Foot
24 Goals - 28.2xG - Head

Who is more likely to score with his head.
January 24, 2026 at 11:08 AM
JSL Has shown consistent goal scoring at the top levels in Spain & England, but lets look deeper.

32 Goals - 36.27xG - Total

20 Goals - 21.03xG - Right Foot
6 Goals - 7.12xG - Left Foot
6 Goals - 8.08xG - Head

Showing he's actually better with his feet than his head.

Should Leeds sign Jorgen Strand-Larsen seems to be the current question on the lips of #LUFC fans. There is a growing number saying no to this question and that the fee we are likely to pay - Circa £40mil. Is too much.

We believe we should sign him.

Best I can do my friend. Some of them are really bunched up in the bottom right. Only one I couldn't get in was Preston who are pretty much exact same as Plymouth

Here's the updated Championship Style of Play chart for February. Apologies the first attempt had some logo's incorrect. Hopefully this one should be all good. Leeds still in the top right quadrant as they have been all season.

Just been doing some analysis of us on our discord which I thought I would share out.

We miss 56% of our big chances. Which is actually believe it or not, the best % of all the other top 7 sides.

Burnley currently 2nd worse at converting them, and worst for creating them.

The best double pivot in the Championship? #LUFC #EFL

As promised. The updated EFL Championship style of play table. Que surprise, #LUFC still play their passes long the least(10%). Followed by #NCFC (11%) and #Boro #HCFC (12%)

Biggest outlier is #SwanseaCity who play 14% of their passes long(7th lowest) but are 2nd highest for possession(59%)

This PPDA plays out to them having the most Final Third tackles attempted in the league.

However they have the 5th least middle third tackles, which indicates to us that often teams bypass the middle of the pitch against them as their Def Third numbers are 9th highest which is not an outlier.

But this doesn't mean they are a passive low block side

Luton have had the lowest PPDA(Passes per defensive action) in the league so far this season.

This means they don't allow their opponent time on the ball and are aggressive in their press.

Some statistical points of note in prep for our upcoming game against Luton who are an interesting side

THREAD 🧵

Luton are one of the more direct sides in the league, favouring longer passes more than most with 21% of their passes being played long.

Secondly, we incorporate statistics into our analysis.

Great start to the season for Brenden Aaronson. Been very active creating chances for his team and probably unlucky to only have assisted one goal thus far. #LUFC

Yet another data set showing Leeds players in good areas. Especially Rodon & Struijk. Both players are progressing the ball a lot and with lots of distance. Best CB pairing in the league!

Bogle & Firpo still looking good, quite close to the top right quadrant. #LUFC #LeedsUnited
