Onions and fascism.

When will we ever learn?
The world has been through anti-science cycles before, to disastrous results

On a detour on my lit review, a mosey through the history of our familiar friend, the standard onion (Allium cepa) brought me right to one of botany's greatest cautionary tales of what happens when ideology overrides data

I'm looking forward to watching #trending evolve over here. It's a great addition to the Sky.

FYI, this is *not* relaxing reading, but it is important reading. Published in 2020, it is somewhat shocking to see just how much history is repeating itself in a nearly perfect 100 year cycle.

If I knew how to make a starter pack I'd make one for those of us floating around who are little skeets in the big blue sky.

My Prime membership expires next month and I will not renew it, along with my unlimited music subscription. If only there was a way to transfer my playlists over to Spotify.

I was just informed by my daughter that we'll have two extra young men at the table tomorrow because "their families don't do anything", and one of them is celebrating a birthday. Now to bake a birthday cake for this sweet kid so we can celebrate him.

Looking for psychology professionals who specialize in the treatment (not just diagnosis!) of people with aphasia is like searching for a ___________ .

Fill in the blank.

Listening to a 20 year old girl with control issues try and drive a wedge between two sets of BFF sisters is maddening. I'm looking forward to the day this girl is a distant memory.

Shenanigans are the worst.

My mantra for tonight as I come home from a long day at work and still have all of the home duties to complete:

"I am breathing in.

(Pause)

I am breathing out."

I hope this helps settle the anxiety, doom and dread in my heart. This month has been brutal.

Seriously considering talking to my PCP about some vaccines that I'll be eligible for over the next 4 years but I'm currently a squidge too young.

My ACE score is two points away from the ceiling. I endured more as a child than my own children have in their combined lifetimes. I've worked hard to make sure they never experience the horrors of abuse, they know their worth, and trust their own minds.

I am a late blooming overachiever. CPTSD stole my childhood and any chance I had at being successful in young adulthood, so now I'm playing catch up.

My feminism is rooted in the lies I was told by my father in the late 80s about abortion. Little did he know, I knew how to effectively use a card catalog. I've never looked back.
