Right??? It's so hard and stressful and damn near impossible to just go for a walk. I have cleats for my hiking shoes but they can't handle when it's this bad. And it happens every single year and the city just shrugs bc they don't care about walking except in Walking Areas™️ like the river valley.

I'm a Quebecer stuck living elsewhere in Canada and I am *always* mad that cretons are not sold in the rest of the country. It's a pork-based spread that's not like paté, and it's not like liverwurst, it's kinda like rillettes? It's unique, local, and delicious, a breakfast fave.

Everyone knows about Montreal smoked meat sandwiches, but smoked meat *spaghetti* is a classic treat locals know but tourists don't. It's exactly what it sounds like, spaghetti with red sauce that has chopped smoked meat in it. Fancy or groundbreaking? Nope. Delicious? You bet.
