Yeah this was the biggest shock during my research. I knew the Mets obviously got McCann instead, but to see Alderson be like "maybe we don't get Lindor" was 😮. Maybe he was trying to save some face, but still.

Oh for sure. One Phils/Mets thing that always drives me crazy: Never forget how Brodie was like Wheeler was able to "parlay two good half-seasons" into his contract. Smh.
