ICYMI: thousands of Googlers are united in our fight for job security. At a time when tech layoffs dominate the headlines despite companies reporting massive profits, Google workers are organizing together for a new way forward at Alphabet.

Today, Googlers for Job Security from coast to coast showed up and showed out for our Day of Visibility. Together, we’re organizing for real job security at Google: guaranteed severance, buyouts before layoffs, no GRAD quotas, and severance as leave.

We're fighting for job security for ALL of us – including our coworkers on H-1B visas. Last month, AWU added a new demand to our Googlers For Job Security campaign: severance as leave, so that workers on visas have extra time on the payroll to find a new job & maintain their legal status in the US.
