𝐶𝑎𝑚𝑎𝑟𝑜𝑡𝑜𝑠𝑐𝑒𝑛𝑎 is revised to contain 10 species, confirming previous morphology-based species concepts, as researchers highlight the limitations of mitochondrial DNA barcoding of a few specimens for species delimitation in this genus.

Based on morphological and molecular evidence, 𝑉𝑒𝑙𝑖𝑎 𝑔𝑟𝑖𝑑𝑒𝑙𝑙𝑖𝑖 is recorded for the first time in Switzerland alongside 𝑉. 𝑐𝑢𝑟𝑟𝑒𝑛𝑠, updating the distribution of aquatic Alpine-Apennine bugs and expanding Swiss insect fauna records.

The presence of the rare alpine insect 𝐻𝑒𝑚𝑒𝑟𝑜𝑏𝑖𝑢𝑠 𝑠𝑐ℎ𝑒𝑑𝑙𝑖 was confirmed in Switzerland with preserved museum specimens in Basel and London, as well as live specimens.
