I have concluded we are at the beginning of a four year crossover show between Veep and House Of Cards, and anything I might accidentally see on the news I actively try to ignore is merely a plot twist in this week’s episode. You deal with reality in your way; I’ll deal with it in mine.
Welp, as if a day in Cincitucky wasn’t enough penance after a loss, my 6 PM flight to FLL was on time at 4, delayed until 8:30 at 4:30, and cancelled at 8, at which point I was already in a rental car half an hour south on a lovely 15 hr drive and a brisket sandwich for dinner 🙄

Progressives need to develop policies for a post-corporatist world. This is a small start. A lot of people around the world feel like they are powerless in a world of unaccountable corporate giants who control our governments (because they are). We need policies to restore an appropriate balance.

Progressives need to develop policies for a post-corporatist world. This is a small start. A lot of people around the world feel like they are powerless in a world of unaccountable corporate giants who control our governments (because they are). We need policies to restore an appropriate balance.
This is completely unsurprising to me. I expect the Letitia James case to follow a similar course, although there appears to be a plausible charge there. The fact that Trump directly ordered the prosecution of his opponents without evidence is something even the average voter can understand.
