Investors are buying up Canada’s farmland. Some farmers are getting worried. 🇨🇦
Are these foreign investors, and what do they want with the land (if not to grow food)? 🤨
Maybe we should all be worried? 🤔

For remote communites, check in with your healthcare unit, many have travelling vans WITH the mammogram equipment in it!!
Heads up...IF you've had previous abnormalities they do prefer you book at a hospital for exams.
Luckily remote communities often are seen sooner. At least we are.

The PM said additional national interest projects will be announced in the coming weeks. This has us thinking about projects that prepare Canada for the future, not set us further apart. What national projects would you like to see funded in Canada?

Police in Airdrie, Alberta (just north of Calgary) say this driver hit a 17-year-old girl in a marked crosswalk, got out of the vehicle, and appeared to get upset at the teenager before driving away.

They released this video and are now trying to identify the driver.

It looks like another teen, probably from the same school, and she was crossing the street - it looks like she waited for the girl at the end.
She’s IS a valuable eyewitness though; I hope that she also heard what he said to the victim.

It‘a shameful.
He doesn’t “condone speeding” yet refuses to say why the offender is still employed by his office, & faces no consequences. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I really do hope so!
Sometimes kids (that age) are embarrassed and might not want to make a fuss - she how fast she got up and walked away? She probably went to school all day after that! 😬

We ask everyone outside of the car to be safe so that drivers can be dangerous.

That’s the entirety of our approach to road safety.

OMG 😱
Find and charge this driver!

I do hope that child has been taken to
hospital for assessment - just because she got up doesn’t mean that she’s ok!

An adult driver angry at a child they hit with their car.

Our car culture summed up in one video.

Not just once....but 12 times!

"at least one cabinet-assigned vehicle was recorded driving more than 50 km/h over the speed limit 12 times in the past three years."

".. implied it was just one person who racked up the speeding notifications and that they still work for the government."
