#Plotober Day 7 - Ash's desire to help, mainly save, others stems from her mother, an investigator who Ash watched die when she was a child. She wants to honor her mother and father, who's also an investigator, and helping others accomplishes this.

#Plotober Day 5 - Really just one MC and that's Ash. I've drawn inspiration from Hellboy and Vampire Hunter D for her journey and fighting bad guys, but also fighting game protagonists like Ryu and Terry Bogard. She's either taking in a match - she's semi-retired - or she's investigating a case.

A high fantasy setting would work best. Something like Forgotten Realms or Exandria which has a vareity of land features. It gives it that Street Fighter feel that you're fighting in different places. You can include horror elements in different lands.

#Plotober Day 3

Street Fighter, Vampire Hunter D, Daredevil, Batman, Hellboy, LOTR, WoW, TTRPGs influence Ash's series as a whole.

For the story, the Conjuring Universe, and Noserfatu. Just imagine Orlok going after someone and then an elven woman runs in and shatters his jaw with one punch.

#plotober Day 2 - Ash is going to fight a supernatural entity. She'll have to use her fighting prowess, abilities, and detective skills. She's akin to a high fantasy elf but she doesn't fire a bow, hits hard and takes a lot of punishment.

#plotober Day 1 - I'm moving onto a new WIP. I'm still AL. My WIP is an action/horror story featuring my punchy girl Ash. She's a prizefighter and is doing one of the following.

- Visiting a school/orphanage and is going to fight The Conjuring's Nun.
- Going to a village & fighting a vampire.

Kidding. BB is a comfort show and not to get all writer but when I'm writing D&D content and I'm having doubts (like will it sell or be popular), I think of the episode where a TTRPG group plays in the restaurant and Bob has an epiphany about his Burger of the Day.

I have a couple of ideas of what stories I want to do next with Ash.
- A short story where Ash fights The Nun (Valak) but it's based on Hellboy and the Crooked Man.
- A novel where Ash has to save a rival's daughter from a vampire. It's inspired by Noserfatu and Vampire Hunter D.

Carmila and Laura have sons (there's a whole backstory to that) who become fighters like them. Carmila's son Rowan goes on adventures with Ash sometimes and she does the whole "if anything happens to my son on your watch, you're dead."

I'm still fleshing out the world right now.

Ash has a wife, an elven princess, though they marry later in life. She has her training partners and coaches from when she started fighting. There's also literature figures who've I made into prize fighters, like the vampire Carmila and Laura - they're lovers sometimes but they have a rivalry too

There's cults that want to bring them back and bring the world back to the "old ways." Then there are people who want to preserve the peace. Prize Fighters are some of those folks. It's essentially Street Fighter X Lord of the Rings with some Hellboy thrown in there.

The world where she's from is at peace but there's a movement to bring about what are The First Heroes - heroes who fought in the ancient wars. These heroes are not as good as people think and they died corrupted. Some were always jerks, others became corrupted by power.

My latest WIP was the first short story in what I hope is many about my punchy girl Ash. An elven prize fighter who also finds missing people and runs into trouble. She's fought for 200 years (so far) and has made friends all over the world. She's won titles and made enemies.

- Detailed cleaned one of the grills
- Fryer oil change before 7 am
- Got a teflon onto a grill while it was still on (I was wearing gloves)
- Changed the sign
- Finished a DMs Guild project (hint, you can adopt a winter wolf or another kind of pupper).
