There was a really beautiful deck of cards made of the Nazis in 1942, during the siege of Leningrad. It would make a good artistic reference for such a project

Anti-Fascist Propaganda Pack for the Siege of Leningrad, 1942 — The World of Playing Cards
In 1942 a pack of ‘anti-fascist’ playing cards was designed by Vasiliy Andrianovich Vlasov mocking the rulers of Germany and the Axis powers.

Neighbors are still being torn apart, and we have yet to hear back on a plan from Governor Walz.

We are asking the community to call his office and ask for an eviction moratorium. You can leave a voicemail here: 651-201-3400‬.

It is already all over Minnesota, not just in the Twin Cities Metro, and certainly not just in Minneapolis

Yeah. I suppose that everything I said above is sort of implicitly conditional on someone actually getting it 😅

It’s not going to be easy, but let’s all sit down as Minnesotans on this hard, unprecedented winter, and figure out how we can work together to defend our neighborhoods from the violent, illegitimate, hateful federal thugs that have invaded our state. You have the mandate, now do your duty!

To gain the trust of Minnesotans, Local law enforcement should work together with community groups to monitor and disrupt ICE abductions, with parent groups to keep our kids safe from federal violence at school, and when Minnesotans confront federal agents, hold the line—not against us, but with us.

I just hope we can build bonds strong enough to last past the emergency times, so that we can someday build something better all together, where no one is disposable.

Unfortunately it's a normal human thing for people to become concerned about problems only when they start impacting them personally. I'm glad that the police are starting to get it. You know what they say, solidarity is made in the crucible of joint struggle... We welcome everyone.

The most effective and principled leftists are there in advisory roles and making contingency plans for the worst case scenarios, while the vanguardists and subculturists are lost in the crowds of regular, decent people who are just doing the job that's been put in front of them.

It's ordinary people—many of the kinds of people Trump probably assumed would support him—who are driving this resistance. And they're not just protesting, but engaging in textbook direct action (gets the goods).
