How often do you get such complete satisfaction that someone like you or me could say "I sure hope it's not the case, but if this *was* the last DK game, I'd live. I couldn't have asked for better."

There are things that could come close, but nothing will do what Bananza did, for me personally. And that's ok. We *got it.* For many, many years I cursed my luck that Donkey Kong was the video game series that spoke to me most. Now I'm eternally grateful. This is it. This was it.

It's crazy to get that game where you can definitively say "This is it. I won't ever feel this way again." It's an impossible high to relive, as long as the DK series and some of my favorite characters don't vanish into obscurity for a decade+ once more, and that seems to not be the intention.
