If you've not seen the new combination COVID and influenza a/b rapid antigen tests, they're now available OTC thanks to a recent FDA ruling. Get them at Amazon if your neighborhood pharmacy isn't carrying them yet.

The annual flu vaccine is as anticipated "pretty shit," especially against influenza B with confirmed exposure: 79% ineffective, which is obviously terrible

Influenza B is typically less severe and infected vaccinated individuals may be nearly asymptomatic.

As a reminder, there is a very large spike in respiratory viruses going on right now, driven by an 18% in flu test positivity which is super-awful.
