PBS belongs to the American people, in fact, I would argue that there is nothing more American than PBS. We empower people to build a better life for themselves and their families. We represent and serve all communities. And we make our country stronger.

Tomorrow, the Senate committee will hold a hearing about the rescissions package that would take back $1.1 billion (that’s billion with a B!). If you haven’t already checked to see if your senator is on the committee, follow this link and urge them to stop this steal!

We won’t go down without a fight. Yet another attempt by this administration to silence voices that they disagree with. The CPB partly funds PBS, but the rest of the money needed to run PBS and its member stations comes from private foundations and viewers like us.

All for your continued service to the people of our country and the great world community.
PBS will continue on fighting the good fight because so many of you know how important it is that we do.

The fight for public media continues on. Since this administration continues to attack our institutions, we must continue to be loud and push back.

We’ll march on!

American public media won’t back down and neither will the people. apts.org/news/press-r...

Good morning all!
Rise and Resist!
If you can protest safely today, do so. We are working to save our democracy and to save what we hold dear.

PBS needs us and so does the rest of our country.
Together, we can do it!

I think we can all agree that a hug from Elmo would fix most problems in the world. But in the absence of that, here’s another action point to take on.
