Not too much happens, but those rings are working hard...

In-world, there's been rumors surrounding Rouge and Shadow for a bit, especially given they live/work together now.
I can't wait to explore Amy/Shadow's dynamic, I love them.

As shadow get's his bearings, sonic wonders about the nightmares, saying, "Y'know, uh, Amy's always been into dream reading and tarot stuff. Maybe she can help you figure it out?" In the next panel, sonic tries to lighten the mood by teasing shadow, who hasn't said anything yet, "Orrr...is *someone* on your mind? Who's the lucky lady, huh?" he seems to mumble, playfully, "she doesn't happen to have wings, does she?" before returning to his normal tone, "Don't tell me your boytoy was in it--" This final remark conjures an image of Shadow's plushie, which cream made for him. He shutters at the thought and in the next panel demands sonic leave, tossing a pillow in his face. Sonic nearly drops his phone. Sonic holds onto the pillow and seemingly moves away, giving shadow some space. Shadow holds his head, clearly having a hard time. Sonic continues, "Let's save the pillow fights for later, I'm at an unfair advantage. Let's get you some soup" as he looks at his phone. Shadow returns, "Whos gets soup for breakfast?" withy sonic explaining, "Its way past breakfast, youve been sleeping for 24 hours. I know you need the rest, but I really need you to eat, man." In the next panel shadow stands and sonic follow close behind, with shadow playing off the strangest, "Im the ultimate lifeform, I dont need to eat every hour like you." Sonic laughs, "Yeah right! 'That Shadow Blog' said you eat more junk food than *me*!". Shadow demands he stop reading that blog, but sonic returns with, "I gotta keep tabs on you somehow-- Cant have my number one rival vanish on me again." "I bet you started that blog, creep." Sonic get impatiant for a moment, "You gonna tell me what soup you want or what?" But shadow scoffs, "Soup is just meat water." as they walk down the hall, outside of shadow's room, now. "You're just meat water-- chicken or beef?" sonic says sarcastically. Shadow matches his tone, "Wow, 24 hours to prepare and that's your comeback? Maybe *you* should rest..." Sonic doesn't doesn't let this slide, "Let's go poultry, we got enough *beef* already." But again, Shadow returns with a quick, "Sounds like something a chicken would say" Before the panel ends. From the previous panel, we can assume Shadow moved the the bathroom. There is a panel of the sink, where we hear an electric toothbrush. The 2nd panel is shadow looking at himself from the perspective of the mirror, as he brushes his teeth. Since he's woke up, his eyes have been tinged green... He turns off the water in the 3rd panel, and in the following panel he seems to stare forward and contemplate the word "chicken" as he feels his heard beat. It seems to give him pause, and in the 5th panel, he seems to becomes annoyed, curling his nose and tensing his brow. His shoulder rise as his cheeks turn pink. We transition to the living room, where we see Shadow standing motionless on the step and watching Sonic, who seems to be fiddling with something in the kitchen" in the second panel, sonic is closer to the viewer and out of focus, as he nervously messes with the espresso machine. The machine steams and crunches up beans at the same time. Behind him, shadow takes a breath, tense and staring intently. He is in focus. The 3rd panel is a close up of shadow's fist, which is tight and tense. in the 4th panel, sonic is very close to the viewer, cutting most of his face, only seeing the top of his eye and just catching his ear turn back. Behind him, Shadow's eyes are perfectly in view, but he doesnt notice the ear. He is focused but nervous, blushing ever so slightly as, in the final panel, he reaches out a shaking hand towards sonic's arm.
