her best friend is a trans girl she met at a ball. together they go on a shoplifting spree so girlfailure cinderella can have some new clothes to try to impress butch skater girl. she asks to borrow her skateboard and says "don't look away" then immediately crashes, falls on her face, and runs away

the *actual* thing to do, if you care about safety for kids or anyone else, is to ensure there are not-for-profit, nationalised, public online spaces that functionally moderate against harmful content and activity, that don't intentionally addict users, and that runs at-arms-length from the gov

governments will literally order private criminal organizations that run global abuse machines to make every user even *more* subject to abuse before they'd send capitalism to therapy (using regulation to force the platforms to be safer spaces)

and all the other platforms! even x. like I get it, it's not about keeping kids safe, it's about controlling their access to revolutionary or liberatory knowledge. but damn dude, it's so obviously a bad idea anyways!!

and even within his movies, sometimes. Death Proof is great, cars go fast! wow, stunts! I love it

100%. I like the books, but getting through season 2 with the constant thought of "I hate every adaptive choice they're making" was enough to stop watching. seems that was a good call!
