Ranked-choice voting was pitched as a fix for polarization, to reward consensus candidates. But without strong parties, it just rewards name recognition. Money for ads, fame, or incumbency wins. Most democracies center parties and ideas—not simply personalities who voters have heard of.

We were told it was an antisemitic blood libel to speculate that the IDF would attack a medical facility. Now, the last remaining cancer hospital in Gaza has shut down after being bombed. Any pretense of concern for Palestinian life has been replaced by brazen indifference.
Israel bombed Gaza’s last cancer & cardiac hospital, then released a video claiming Hamas tunnels were below it.

Now they admit the footage was from somewhere else.

The hospital is shut, and innocent people died.
