The song "Twelve Days of Christmas" shows the fundamental disconnect in Western Culture. While birds still fulfill their traditional roles (calling, a-laying, a-swimming, being French sometimes...?) and women continue their societal roles (work: a-milking, and dancing: on TikTok, mostly) ...
