It does feel like the online discussion of the PS5 hasn't really changed since the first year, even though the number of games meaningfully taking advantage of the hardware have obviously increased since then.

I bought in part because it was cheap(er then most games), so I probably would not have paid 80 or 100 Canadian dollars personally. I certainly wouldn't have judged them had they decided to charge more though.

This feels like an example of how people don't tend to treat games as art to me.

Movies are art and therefore it is more expected for people to watch older things to have well-rounded knowledge/experience. Games are treated as much more disposable and replaceable by comparison.

Realistically, I will just continue to play Hades 2 throughout October - though I hope to pick up Dispatch as well when that releases.

I truly do not know how people find the time to be up-to-date on releases in a market as busy as this.

Their last game had rescuable NPC characters; I would bet she'll be one of those, assuming they are doing something similar to it for the story mode.

This is the poll I am most curious about as there’s SO many directions it could go. The classic original IPs like Angry Birds, the Nintendo games, the licensed games, the juggernauts of modern gacha games… It’ll be fascinating to see what rises to the top.
