Major Tyana Schmidt stood with her hands clasped behind her back as a panel of people she couldn't see, sitting at a table shrouded in darkness, spoke at her more than to her. Her long brown hair was tied into side plait and draped over her shoulder, and she was dressed in the plain, unadorned black dress uniform of the United Nations Anomalous Threat Response Group. Her bright green eyes shone from behind her circular glasses.

"Your team was assigned to investigate reports of an anomaly of unknown type and origin in the town of Bălți, is this correct?" The man continued.

"Yes sir" Tyana replied.

"And your team eventually determined the anomaly to be a vending machine? Is that correct?"

"Yes sir" She replied again.

"And what did the vending machine do, Major Schmidt?"

"It made you racist" she replied matter-of-factly.

This is an album about knowing that I was trans since I was 6, repressing it out of fear and lack of knowledge about what that meant, and my wanderings in the wilderness of depression for 23 years before I finally accepted myself. It's going to be extremely dark but end in a positive place.
