Someone gave my daughter a variegated monstera cutting, and it’s growing so she’s so excited. It’s cute, right? Except this is the monstera we already have (named Beulah) and if little Nadine gets as big as Beulah, we’re going to have to move into a bigger apartment.

I have all these pairs of heavy cotton socks I wear around the house. They’re in good shape but I’ve blown out the heels of all of them. So I looked up how to darn sock heels online and I figured it out! I fixed them all!

Looks like about 1.5” in Brooklyn so far. It’s falling straight down, flakes so small and even that it looks like an animated backdrop.

One of the drawbacks of giving up mainstream news is that I miss being warned about the weather. I had no idea it was going to snow today. Around 2” on the ground and still coming down!

This may seem like a tiny thing, but recently I re-arranged the dining room to create a dedicated writing space. Since I started writing in 2010, me and my laptop have just floated and I wrote whereever. But having this spot has made me so happy. I look forward to sitting down to work!
