Stepping outside of my comfort zone and sharing one of my poems publicly for the first time in my life. I’ve written poetry ever since adolescence, but it’s always been kept private. Hopefully I don’t delete after the fact, but for some reason, I felt like sharing for the first time.

This is how you become a writer: just pick one of the things that is deeply wrong with you. Make it a character. Now send it on a self-help journey or try to kill it. Now call it a book.
